1. What’s the story?

10 000 years ago one prehistoric tribe gets hungry and needs to go hunting. The leader of that tribe Tau (Johannes Haukur Johannesson) takes the best hunters, and also some kids who can make sharp rocks well, with him and they leave their home to hunt the great beast! No, we are not talking about mammoths, just some angry buffalos. Keda is one of the kids who is going hunting for the first time — he’s a son of the chief, and quite incompetent with all the prehistoric things (besides making stones sharp!), so of course some things happen and he finds himself alone in the wilderness. While trying to survive, and looking for his way back home, he meets a female wolf (by saying “meets” I mean almost gets killed by it), that decides to stick around because she thinks Keda is such a sexy alpha!

2. What’s special about the film?

This is basically a fantasy movie that depicts one possibility how men may have had domesticated wolves. I haven’t seen a movie about that before, so it was something new. Although it was massively simplified, it was still a good…
