1. What’s the story?

Peter (Michael Peña) has trouble with sleeping. He sees nightmares about him being covered with blood, about war and people dying. Since Peter can’t sleep well, his wife is mad at him, because she also can’t sleep when her husband wakes up all the time, and this is an unsolvable problem for her. Just when Peter’s wife has decided that her man has gone totally nuts, aliens strike the city, and people start to die immediately. So Peter’s wife is like “yeeey, my husband is actually a prophet” and she starts to love him again or something. Also they have very annoying kids, who have too many millennial genes and no discipline at all — Some movies just make you want never to have kids…or in case of alien invasion, they at least should be taken to the grandparents…

So aliens attack, people run, people crawl, people kill and …they die. That’s pretty much the whole movie. But wait, there’s more! If you have faith and get through the first part of the movie, then you are gifted with some plot twists that make watching it worthwhile.
