1. What’s the story?

Kate (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is an American assassin in Japan who always gets her job done without any questions asked. After hard workdays she goes to bars, bangs some random men, and life is good. One day she decides that she wants a real life — that boring one with children and a garden where you have to mow the lawn etc. After that’s decided everything goes wrong immediately, she gets poisoned with some radioactive shit and suddenly she has one day maximum left to live. In this position many of us would call our close ones, go see the sunset for the last time, or start heavy drinking… but not her. Kate boosts herself up with an excessive amount of (medical) drugs and goes for the last revenge-killing-spree to find and kill the one who poisoned her.

2. What’s special about the film?

This movie really earns its R rating — blood is the main coloring choice and body parts detach frequently…
