1. What’s the story?
Not going to tell you the whole plot, but to give you some idea, this is the setting of the movie:
VFW takes place in a version of our world (USA) where police is struggling to keep up with the crime, so anarchy is rising. Also this world has a drug shortage problem. How can that be a bad thing? Well, drugs are running out, and that makes junkies go wild because they need their fix no matter what — they turn into almost mindless zombies. The drug-lord Boz (Travis Hammer) makes, for no particular reason, one of those junkies to jump down off a roof by throwing some sweet narcotics down. So clearly she jumps because she really wants to get her dose, and stairs are too far (Don’t get me started with stairs in this movie. You’ll find out later.)…yes, the junkie dies with a sexy splash like expected. And when her sister Lizard finds her body, she thinks that the best revenge is to go into the drug-lord’s house with no plan and steal all the drugs, then get chased into a building next door, what turns out to be a bar full of war veterans, who now have to start to clean her shit up …with killing.
